It wasn’t easy but God’s Word with verses like James 1:2-4, John 16:33, and Romans 5:3-5. Even in the midst of the year that was 2020, God got me through it and in hindsight some of the challenges and struggles were probably necessary to prepare me to step up and step out into a new role and a new team. Casting my cares upon Him because He cares for me.
So what are you going to do? How are you going to respond? Over the years I have posted different articles on the subject (linked in the first paragraph – if you wanted to check them out), but the one key to getting through it and over it has been turning to God in my case. When you hear that someone has become sick and tired or you are feeling sick and tired, what comes to mind? Is it that you are getting wearied by something? Is it that you are getting bored with something? Is it that you are becoming exasperated by something? Is it that you are becoming fatigued by something? Is it that you are getting fed up with something? Ever found that when it goes on for too long that you get sick? Ever seen someone get to that point and end up dying? Tired of being sick? Sick of being tired? Sick and tired of being sick and tired? Are you feeling like you are getting to the end of your rope? Are you ready to press on and get thru? Do you realize how over time there have been many people who have gotten to this point? Are you ready for a reformation? Are you ready to be or stand firm because things have gotten out of control? Ever felt like things never change, like groundhog day over and over and over again? Why not turn from the ways of the world and turn back to God?
